About Me
I have always been a believer in the philosophy of using less.
Now I am living the dream of having my own green, woman owned cottage business. Thank you for visiting.
Materials I use are: used/repurposed/recycled/reclaimed
I have always shopped at thrift stores, franken-styled my closet, simply because mass-production serves few. I love vintage, history, and dressing to charm. Why not share what you love with those you love? My global community.
Some of my favorite spots to treasure hunt:
THE craft thrift store of everybody's dreams.
Ethel and Rome have been paramount to supplying this girl with hours and hours of entertainment.
Here is a great article featuring Rome in her store, and Crafty Wonderland craft fair, featuring yours truly in the first picture.
Great Gatherings, RIP, was another dear favorite.
Goodwill Bins, Value Village, any number of garage sales, free piles (especially the one sponsered by Blackrose Collective on Mississippi Ave.) My great friends who think of me when they see fabric that is quite often off-the-wall disco.
The best part? Most of what I find, turn around and re-create into functional is in the oh so fabulous DIY green city of Portland Oregon. A city that I lovingly call home.
Thank you! Thank you! for looking and being a part of the wonder of the world.
